One of the worst ihops I ever been to. Service was very bad the waitress and waiters don't care about anything. The food however was good but extremely slow in coming out. This place is very dirty sticky tables dirty floors and do not think about using the bathroom there it is absolutely horrific. I had to leave and go some where else to use the bathroom.

We've always had a good breakfast here...their lunch sandwiches are always good too. For those who rate this place low; they just hit it on a bad day. Sorry to hear you had a bad meal... IHOP is pretty much even across the board no matter where you go-do not expect excellence as in a fine dining restaurant-but you should know what your getting into when you decide to go to an IHOP.

I eat here regularly because of the convenient location between the base and my house. This has given me time for multiple experiences. I've been forgotten about, a few times and on occasions, some of the wait staff seem eager to be rid of me, but overall, everyone is nice and the food has been always good. In this town, it's probably one of the best places to eat.

Great place to take the kids and the service is good. The staff is always friendly and I've seen the manager walking around the floor saying hello on multiple occasions. I love the Red Velvet Pancakes they have! And yes, you read that right. Little known fact, you can order food for take out!

This is the worst IHOP in southern MD. I stopped by for lunch hoping to quickly get in and out but unfortunately this did not happen. I waited at the hostess stand to be seated along with another guy for approximately 10 minutes. No one was at the stand to greet customers. The guy in front of me gave up and walked out. I was about to leave as well when a waitress finally showed up to seat me. Before she could seat me I had to wait additional time so that she could clear off a table. I was finally seated and immediately gave my order before she left. I ordered a salad and it took well over 30 minutes to receive it. Needless to say my meal was not good; so I paid and left disappointed. There was also a lady waiting for a to go order. She complained she had been waiting 45 minutes to receive it! I'm not sure who runs this place but they need to pay attention to customers who walk out since that's money walking out their establishment and customers not being served in a timely manner. I'm not sure if their short order cooking staff needs to be changed or reminded that quick service is important. Bad service spreads through word of mouth so they should be cognizant of the service that is delivered! I will not be recommending this IHOP to anyone!

They offer a military discount with proof of military ID. Service was painfully slow. Waitress took our order pretty quickly, but it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive at our table. My children got restless and fidgety. Food was great when it finally arrived.

I have been through changes with this restaurant. Before it was remodeled, I had tried it a couple of time and it was poor in many regards. After it was remodeled the service level was stepped up also. More recently, the service level seemed to be slipping and I wasn't interested in returning. Our last visit was prompted by the wife who wanted a patty melt, which are reasonably good. The service seemed be improved again. The food is OK but not great. Breakfast at Cracker Barrel feels less processed. I'm not in love but I'm not avoiding this place at this point.

Don't ever order "to-go" here. Our entire order was wrong. The person up front argued about our order for 10 minutes instead of correcting it. She was very rude. We will never eat here again.

Service was okay, no one was at the hostess stand. Waitress was very good. Food came out fast. Got the waffle croissant with rhubarb and strawberry, waffle croissant was a little hard to cut through otherwise tasted great. Hash browns were soggy, kinda undercooked, bacon was really salty, didn't care for the sausage, and the eggs were all right.

I did not have a terrible meal. However the omelet although large was not refined. The cheese was clumped on and unmelted. Pancake was floured and unremarkable the waitress was attentive, but did not clear the table. Training is in order.

...waited for 10-12 minutes after being seated this morning around 11am. Didn't see hide nor hair of a wait person come in my direction...no water, coffee, menu, nada. Got up and walked out

3.5 stars. (Is this possible?) We weren't uniquely hung over, recovering from a night of hallucinogenic drugs, or anything out of the ordinary. After a night of glorious partying at a good friend's house in the country, we cradled large mugs of coffee in her summer room until cravings for breakfast rumbled around midday. Suggestions of the International House of Pancakes floated around the room, provoking laughter and groans. Soon, though, we piled into the car and kept our eyes peeled for the notorious blue and white sign, so often synonymous with food poisoning. Normally, I would not deign to have breakfast at the International House of Pancakes, and any rating would surely include a measly single star. The food felled our expectations, as did our lovely waitress, who was well-seasoned, as one friend commented. Fresh spinach, oven-roasted tomatoes with a sweet, smoky flavor, and actual grated cheese prevailed in our omelets, which came with several choices of pancakes (including a stack with cheesecake pieces) or strawberry stuffed french toast with a welcome griddled taste and tangy cream cheese. What the hell magically happened at this location? Was I glamored by a vampire? No matter, because the meal was delicious.

It's hit and miss with this place. The service was bad this time and they weren't even busy. The food was ok, looks like it was sitting in the window for too long.

The food was good, the service about as bad as it gets. Our waitress plopped our plates down and left on the run, not even giving us a chance to realize a few things were missing--namely silverware, napkins, and ketchup. The server totally ignored us as she went by us on the way to another table, then avoided going past us after that by walking up a different row. Finally, as our food was getting cold, we took silverware and napkins off nearby empty tables, and ketchup off of another one. I had ordered a Cheese Steak with potato soup as the side. It arrived with french fries and I did notice this in time to get her to bring the soup. Then I waited for her to return so we could ask for the utensils, napkins, and ketchup. Another in the party had ordered french fries, too. Seems like a cheese steak for one and french fries for the other--we should have either automatically received a ketchup bottle or at least have been asked if we wanted ketchup. Then there was the issue of the utensils. Two sets of utensils were already wrapped on the table when we were seated, but there were 3 of us. I don't know whose job it was to supply those--the server or the hostess--but both should have noticed it. And 2 napkins with 2 messy sandwiches and an order of pancakes and eggs...something is lacking there. One in our party had to leave early, so he asked for a box when he placed his order. It never arrived, and since the server never returned even once to see if everything was okay, he had to leave his half eaten meal. When the server finally appeared at the end of the meal with our bill (we didn't want dessert or coffee, but don't they even ask anymore or ask if we want anything else?), she saw his plate and said, "Oh, he wanted a box".(no apology for forgetting it) We said yes, and noted that he had already left and had to leave without the box.. She said nothing and started to clear his meal until we stopped her again and asked for a box so we could take it to him (and also asked for boxes for the rest of us) No apologies for her poor service, just some comment about people hadn't shown up (but no apology with that). I had been in a really good mood that day and went in thinking I would tip at least 20%, but the service was so poor it just didn't deserve anywhere near that. So, if the server is reading this and wondering why she got such a lousy tip...remember, lousy service equals lousy tip. And, if the management is reading this, make note that there are a lot of unemployed people out there that would do a better job than this woman did. The place got 2 stars because the food was really good, but the service just didn't make it (if it had been based on the service alone, it would have gotten 1 star). I should also note that we came there awhile ago when it was more crowded, and with a bigger party, and got much better service.

I've heard horror stories about this IHOP but I havent had one yet myself. It's been the standard IHOP food, a bit greasy but definitely a good cure for a hangover
